Description:
Undated. View of The Green showing two of the estate houses on the left. There are still 22 estate houses standing in the village. They were built from the 1850s onwards to replace the old thatched cottages which had fallen into disrepair. On the ground floor the estate houses were designed with a kitchen pantry and front room. Upstairs were two bedrooms and an attic. The pair of houses seen here have single storey extensions which were shop premises.
