Description: Undated.
Image shows the River Wharfe and the Weir located a little way upsteam from Thorp Arch Bridge. Thorp Arch Manor Mill is situated here. The Weir was also, the site of a salmon fishery or 'hecks'. As the salmon leapt the Weir they would be caught by a wooden frame constructed across the river.
