Westfield Lane, looking west
Description:
c1960s. Image shows a view looking west along Westfield Lane, likely to have been taken around the mid 1960s. The junction with Oxford Drive is on the left followed by Westfield Bridge, while houses on Goodwood Avenue are in the background on the right. Once a much less populated village lane, development of the area allows the road to be lined with properties old and new.

This phot shows number 1 and number 7 and 9 good wood avenue. They were built in 1964, number 5 has not yet been built, it was built 1 or 2 years later. Number 1 was self built by Ted Heath. Number 7 was bought by my parents Robert and June Moss, number 9 was bought by Harold and Moira Boden. Number 5 was built later and owned by Ron and Ruth Gray. Does this help with dating?
