Description: Undated. Image shows the Church of The Holy Name on Otley Old Road. In 1979 a porch was built on to the front of this brick built single storey building. User Comments: Name: Ron Davies Comment: This church, although I was'nt a parishioner, featured largely in my life. I joined the scout troop based here as a young teenager, having transferred from one on the Hawksworth Estate. The church also had a soccer team who played friendly matches on a Sunday afternoon, I was a member of this team along with a very young Paul Madeley. I also married my first wife (Val Andrews) here in May 1964. My youngest son Michael was also married here, and my eldest son Pauls daughter was christened here.
