Undated. Image shows the Beehive, a Tetley Public House on Main Street. Originally a coaching inn, by the Millennium The Beehive had become a very popular pub/restaurant, serving a joint menu of English and Spanish food.
Many a great time here with my pal Geoff Petch, then a stop over at his mam and dads, sadly both deceased now, great times, great memories of a great village and friends.
My Father in law lived in 5 Westfield cottages looking onto the Beehive pub from across the beck and on a Sunday when he went for a pint at the Beehive and is dinner was ready Mother in law would wave a tea towel from the bottom of the garden to tell him is dinner was ready. She did not need a mobile phone
