To the left are the Great Northern Railway Line and houses on Little Fountain Street, while Fountain Street runs across the top of the picture. Baker Street and Thackray Street can be seen in the top right-hand corner. To the right of the school are Parkfield Mills. Morley Grammar School was opened in 1909 and was originally known as Morley Secondary School until 1930. In 1975 it became a comprehensive school and was renamed Morley High School.
