Low Fold, off New Road Side
4th December 1981. Image shows Low Fold, located off New Road Side. This is an enclave of old stone built cottages and farm buildings. Number 11 New Road Side is at the left edge with the gable end of numbers 1 to 9 behind it. In the centre there is breeze block construction and a structure with a corrugated roof. To the right a stone property is seen in the foreground and behind it number 7 Low Fold. Numbers 1 and 2 are in the centre background and Rawdon Library is a single storey building hidden behind the group of trees in the centre. Micklefield House, the location of the Council Offices, is the imposing building in the background, left of centre.
