Undated. View of a rag shaker, used in the mill of Morley, and one of the many forms of Textile machinery made at Hope Foundary on Hope Street. Set up by Joseph Rhodes in the 1850s, Hope foundary played a vital role in the textile industry in Morley, providing machinery and waterstorage tanks for the mills.
