c1920s. Image shows a family group photograph taken at the wedding of Clarence Arundel and his bride. The ceremony was held at Tingley Methodist Chapel in Westerton Road. The bride wears a short, twenties style wedding gown, a lace veil and carries a bouquet of lilies, roses and carnations. The three bridesmaids also carry bouquets and wear light-coloured dresses and contrasting darker cloche hats. Photograph from the David Atkinson Archive.
