Description:
c1938 View of the north side of York Road showing nos.201-209. At no.201, by the junction with Glenthorpe Crescent, the former Thrift Stores is boarded up. Following on from this are no.203 City Aviaries, bird dealers, 205 Geo. Eric Foad, wireless apparatus dealer, 207 Joseph Jowitt, dairyman and 209 Isaac Christmas, fishmonger. A car is parked on the road.
