c1920. Image shows the shop of Samuel Smith, a Boot and Shoe dealer and repairer of Tingley. A woman in a starched, white pinafore is standing in the store entrance. Little Duke, boys' footwear is advertised in the window along with Cherry Blossom polish. There are a few pairs of shoes and boots of various types on display, and also equipment for the preservation and repair of footwear. The shop is listed in Kelly's Trade Directory for 1922.
