White Swan, Cross Hills
C1960s. View of Cross Hills and the White Swan public house seen on the left at number 15. Cross Hills is in the centre of Kippax. The West Riding Automobile Company bus displaying the number 175 and 'Kippax' is coming from the direction of the High Street. It is about to make a right turn back around the roundabout as the service terminated at Cross Hills.

What a difference fifty years make.Look no litter

Apart from the absence of litter, everything else is much the same, note the bus stop on the roundabout, it must be the only vellage in the entire UK to have three seperate bus stops actually on the cross hills roundabout, when three come at the same time even they are stumped.
