View of an open steel canopy on the former site of Armitage Brickworks. Taylor Woodrow have erected a sign on the fencing. In July 2006 planning permission was approved for Taylor Woodrow to build a new housing development on the site. The building firm, Taylor Woodrow Developments Ltd. purchased the 5.5 acre brownfield site in 2005 for over £4m. The view here is seen from Lingwell Gate Lane.
