Simon Cook

I got a bit of a sentimental shock when I found this picture. I had commented on a picture taken from the other side of the counter, only to discover this photo with a very young and dark haired Simon Cook sat with the checked shirt on. Very fond memories of my time at Moor Allerton. I often drive past and many great memories come flooding back. Did you know that the library was closed for many months following a fire in the cobblers shop adjacent to the library. It took many months of hard work and cleaning to get the library re-opened. The smell never fully went away. In this photo I see, Linda North, Linda East, Caroline Maw, Christine Bull, Jean Smith, Gerard and your truly.
