Description:
C1920s. View of Upper Green (Garthwaite's Corner) at the junction with Syke Lane, Westerton Road and Baghill. In the foreground is Baghill Road with numbers 2 to 10 on the left. Westerton Road is off to the right behind the two young boys. The end terraced house in Westerton Road is number 400. The properties seen centrally would appear to be numbers 6 and 8 Syke Road.
