6th October 1999. View of Briggate looking towards the Headrow and the junction with New Briggate. Left of centre is the 1932 Lewis's building which became Allders in 1996. Allders in the Headrow has since closed and plans are in place for the re-development of the building. Right of centre is the Odeon Cinema, now a Primark store. The trees visible are in St. John's Churchyard. Advertising for Leeds Film Festival straddles the top of Briggate.
