Bridge End / Dock Street, former Simpsons Fold Warehouses.
6th October 1999. These old Simpsons Fold Warehouses are located South of the River Aire near Leeds Bridge. They belonged to the Aire & Calder Navigation Canal Offices at Bridge End at the corner with Dock Street. The warehouses date from the 1770s and were built on garden land owned by William Milner (1662-1740), a woollen merchant and Mayor of Leeds in 1697/98. The warehouses are now converted to luxury apartments and are addressed as number 1 Dock street.
