31st July 1980. View of New Road Side (A.65) showing stone built shops and business properties from 135 to 145. Far left is Barbara Smith, Soft Furnishings at 135, then Ronald Stankler Tailoring at 137, Barry's Hair Fashions at 139, Cucina occupying 141 to 143 with sign for Morly's Oyster Bar above, and Horsforth Camera Centre at number 145. The Camera Centre is at the junction with Victoria Gardens, right.

Poor old Mortimer will be spinning in his grave - It was "Morty's" Oyster Bar, Situated in Cucina's basement and former warehouse.
