c1903. Early black and white image showing R. Bosomworth's Grocer's shop at number 22 Royal Park Road at the corner with Back Brudenell Grove (left). Standing at the door is the manager, George Walsh Wigglesworth. He is accompanied by three of his younger children. Mr. Wigglesworth eventually took over the ownership and ran the business until his death in 1936. An advertisement for C.P. Government Tea is displayed on the brick exterior wall. The shop is opposite the junction with King's Road.

I lived in the area briefly in 1979-80 and can remember when this was a thriving off licence. The building is still there, alas it had been empty for numerous years.
