Meanwood Road County Primary School is the backdrop for this group photograph showing the Salvation Army Singing Company. The children, in uniform, are posing for the camera in front of the Salvation Army Citadel at number 175 Meanwood Road. The red brick-built school is now demolished but was situated at the junction of Education Road with Meanwood Road and adjacent to the Corporation Baths. Opposite the school, next to the Salvation Army Hall is the junction with Cambridge Road.
