Description: Undated.
View of an old property which originated as the Vicarage for the mid-18th century St. Matthew's Church in Church Lane. A new St. Matthew's Church was built in Wood Lane in 1897-98. This ivy clad house became known as, appropriately 'Ivy House', and is still in existance today, although the old Church was demolished in 1935. Nowadays Ivy House is part of a residential complex and is divided into apartments.
