From Kirkstall to here I lived opposite this chimney at 39 Greenacre Park Rise around 1972-1976.To the left is where the original fire station was just about where the JCT 600 garage is.

As a vending machine service engineer I visited this dyeworks on numerous occasions. The company I worked for, A.R.A. later re-named 'Aramark', also ran the works canteen. On a service call I once found a sign on one of the machines which said 'THIS MACHINE NOT ACCEPTING 2Ps' underneath some wag had written 'ONLY WIGS'.
