Beverley Terrace, in the direction of Lady Pit Lane.
2008. View of Beverley Terrace, an old street of red brick terraced houses, scheduled for demolition as part of a Regeneration Project. On the left, the houses are back-to-back with Beverley View. On the right, the houses are through, and back yards are accessed on Back Beverley Terrace. The trees on the right are in the grounds of Rowland Road Working Mens' Club at number 38 Rowland Road. The club once fronted Rowland Road but was demolished and rebuilt further back on land once part of a large property called Lindenthorpe. In 1947, Pollard, Drake and Quayle, Physicians and Surgeons were based at Lindenthorpe.
