1970s. View of Boar Lane from around the mid 1970s. Just visible on the left is no. 13, Finlays tobacconists, then after the junction with White Horse Street is no. 14 the Singer Sewing Machine Co, followed by no. 15 Finigans Ladieswear, 16 Wakefields Army Stores and 17 Silvios Bakers with the White Horse Restaurant above. No. 18 at the end of the block is vacant then after Gascoigne Street is a gap where nos. 19-20 have been demolished before no. 20A the Elysee Restaurant and 21 Dunn & Co. menswear.
