1970s. View showing a cleared area at the back of Boar Lane, once occupied by various warehouses but at the time (mid 1970s) being used as a car park. This area was later (in the 1990s) to be redeveloped as Trevelyan Square. In the centre are the rears of nos 14-18 Boar Lane, between White Horse Street to the right and Gascoigne Street to the left. No. 14 is occupied by the Singer Sewing Machine Co. Ltd. In the background on the right is C&A while on the left the tower of the Royal Exchange House can be seen.
