20th November 2007. View of the former Kippax Infant School at the junction of Westfield Lane, to the left, and Leeds Road. The oldest school building in Kippax, it was formerly Kippax Council School. After being run for some time as a primary school on two sites, with the juniors based at Gibson Lane Junior, the infants school finally closed in July 2005 and a new purpose-built primary school was built on the Gibson Lane site, now known as Ash Tree Primary. This building is now being offered for sale as a development opportunity.

It is absoloutly scandalous that such a fantastic, and seemingley well loved building has been demolished by the council. I am appalled and disgusted!
