How well I remember this! The foreground in the photo was the turnaround area for the tram that ran up Chapel Town road to Chapel Allerton, photo taken from area of old iron monger shop. Used to visit my grandmother living in the area off Regent street (Victoria Street) after the WWII. Lived with her and other family members throughot the war off Stainbeck Lane.
