26th April 1966 View from Stainbeck Lane looking towards the junction with Harrogate Road. On the left is Chapel Allerton Methodist church. In the centre are Ward butchers, Thrift Stores and the Midland Bank, then beyond the junction with Town Street is the Police Station. Cars are parked along all the roads.
