Description:
c1991/2. View of Quarry House under construction on the former site of Quarry Hill flats. This £55 million project was to provide new headquarters for the London based Department of Health and Social Security, housing 2,000 staff. It was to be built on eight storeys and included a swimming pool and leisure facilities. Quarry House was topped out in April 1992 and opened in 1993.
