View of Stage 5 construction work on the Inner Ring Road looking east from the vicinity of the Quarry Hill Footbridge. On the left is the eastbound flyover carrying the A64 which was completed in 1973. A crane is working ahead on the new westbound flyover, also carrying the A64. At the left edge the presbytery and church can be seen of St. Patrick's in New York Road. The red brick Roman Catholic Church opened in 1891. To the right work has begun on the former site of Quarry Hill Flats to construct Quarry House, the Headquarters of the Department of Health and Social Security which opened in 1993.
