Undated. Interior view of the Leeds Parish Church Market District Boys Club on Brussels Street, possibly taken around 1949-1951. This seems to be a games room with a table tennis table on the right. The building was demolished in the late 1980s.

This is more than likely the very same table we played on in the late forties and early fifties when we played against other boys clubs in the city. The only other chap i can remember in the team at that time was Jack Buckley he lived in Wright House on Quarry Hill Flats as i did from 1938 until 1955. Happy Days Regards Raymond Jones Jan 2009

the area in the center of the picture was the seating for the cafe/tuck shop a snooker table was also in this room must have been added later also a great veiw from the windows of the marsh lane rail viaduct heading into and out of leeds city station
