Leeds Road, roundabout, showing The Nookin
Description:
Undated. View of a roundabout connecting Rothwell Lane, to the left, Leeds Road ahead and Calverley Road and the A642 off the picture to the right. In the centre of the picture is an old Tudor-style house, now a listed building, known as The Nookin, dating back to at least 1611 and probably before.

According to the vehicles, I would say this is a 1960's photograph.

Must be mid to late 60's because I used to catch a bus at the lodge before the roundabout in the early 60's
