I took this picture in the summer of 1959.It was one of several photographs of quarry sites that I used to illustrate a thesis on quarries in the Bramley area written as part of my examinations for my Art Teachers Diploma when I was a student-teacher in the Teacher Training Department at Leeds College of Art
