Springhead Park, Oulton Beck

Springhead Park, Oulton Beck
Undated. View of Springhead Park, a small part of what is now Rothwell Park, showing Oulton Beck running along on the left and a path on the right. Springhead Park had originally been privately owned but was taken over by Rothwell Urban District Council in the 1930s and opened up as a public park boasting tennis courts, bowling greens, playgrounds and a cafe.

A beautiful well kept park! As a 16th generation Rothwellian though, I am biased!
