This is situted off Stairfoot Lane. As a youngster in the 80's I remember going down into this structure. It wasn't closed off then, or maybe had been closed off and 're-opened' again.The hatch that can be seen there is, i believe, a hatch that was used for lowering documents down to the basements. back in the 40's when it was built i'm sure Adel woods was a far more secluded place than it is today.
