February 2008. View from Glencoe View, foreground, showing the gable end of back-to-back streets of terraced housing. On the left is St. Hilda's Avenue and on the right, St. Hilda's Grove, looking in the direction of Fewston Avenue. At the time of this photograph these houses were unoccupied and awaiting demolition. Old advertising on the gable end is for 'Hemingway's noted Ales' with an invitation to try our "Big Bens". The firm was located at number 4 All Saints Road, off York Road.

This house, along with the other 2 attached to it was knocked down today (10th March 2011) The whole (odd) side of the street has now been demolished. Now officalplans as to what is going to built in thier place yet. I have taken day by day pictures as my home is oppisite the demo work. If intrested, feel freeto email me.
