21st January 2000. View showing the former site of the Union Crane Works, originally the business of Joseph Booth & Brothers Ltd., following demolition. The view looks from the side of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal towards Town Street, where Lastingham Road, Cowley Road, Nunthorpe Road, Eggleston Street, Kirkham Street and Wesley Terrace can be seen leading off.
