2nd April 2001. View of Lastingham Road seen from Town Street. In the centre are the offices of Wellman Booth Ltd., who owned the Union Crane Works on the opposite side of Town Street, now demolished and the business transferred to Yeadon.

The newer building was originally called 'Woodeson House' and was the new early 1960's drawing office & exec offices for Clyde Crane & Booth Union Crane Works opposite. Further up Lastingham Road was their canteen, store yard and pattern shop.
