Parkstone Avenue, Moor Grange County Secondary School
c1973. View of Moor Grange County Secondary School, showing the front entrance seen from Parkstone Avenue. Built around the 1950s, Moor Grange was a boys' school; it was later named Moor Grange High School but has now been demolished.

this was the main entrance in parkstone avenue.the driveway sloped down to wards cycle sheds which were on the right out of view.mr wilson the metal work teacher had an mg sports car with huge headlamps.he used to drive down the slope at speed and aim the car into a space near the pupils entrance.he would finish up inches from the toilet wall,to the amusement of us that were watching.we secretly hoped that one day he would miss judge it,but to my knowledge he never did.
