Description: Undated. Aerial view of Burmantofts showing the Ebor Gardens housing estate in the foreground, between York Road at the bottom and Burmantofts Street, with Rigton Drive and Haslewood Drive running through the estate. Burmantofts Street becomes Beckett Street towards the right, with Nippet Lane leading off below to the right and Lincoln Green Road upwards towards the left. Tower blocks are seen in the middle distance including the three blocks of Cromwell Heights on the left. In the far distance are Little London and Sheepscar to the left and Harehills to the right, with Roundhay Road running upwards towards the top centre. User Comments: Name: Martin Hopkins Comment: I would think this view ,was taken in the early 60`s.The terraced houses in Stoney Rock Lane are still visible.Also do i see the old "Anglers"club on beckett street or was this still Burmondtofts street?.
