View of the U.Y.M.I. Football Ground situated on Skelton Road, known as the Uni Ground. It is owned by East End Park Working Mens' Club and is the home ground of their football teams. Presently (2010)there are three teams - a First and Second team playing in the West Yorkshire Association League and a team playing in the Leeds Sunday League. The Club also supports an under 15's team playing in the Leeds & District Junior League. East End Park WMC Football Club has a history dating back to the 1920s. The stand seen in this image is no longer there. At the top of the image playing fields are visible (Osmondthorpe Recreation Ground.) These are situated opposite the Shaftesbury on York Road.
