Description: 1888.
View of Knostrop Hall showing the south front entrance. A stone pier and stone seat can be seen on the right; matching ones at the other side of the entrance are out of view here. Knostrop Hall was a late 17th century mansion built for Adam Baynes, a Leeds M.P.; it was occupied in the late 1800s by artist Atkinson Grimshaw but was demolished in 1960.
