1881 Census show's my Gt Granddad Amos Wilson & wife Jane A (nee Slater)along with 4 boys, John E 14. Matthew 4 (my granddad) Alfred 2. Amos 9mo. living in Thwaite Lock, originally from Goodmanham & Easingwold, don't know if this is the house they all lived, probably not he was down as general labourer, not a Lock Keeper
