Little London, aerial view
April 1966. Aerial view looking from the Little London area in the foreground towards the City Centre at the top. Running through the centre from bottom right to top left is Lovell Park Road which becomes Wade Lane further up. To the left is North Street while running across the photo towards the top is Albion Street/Woodhouse Lane. At the bottom are 3 blocks of high-rise flats, from left, Lovell Park Heights, Lovell Park Grange and Lovell Park Towers. Visible towards the top centre are the Merrion Centre, the Civic Hall and at the very top the Town Hall.
