Comment:
This house is on the right hand side of Creskeld Lane, as you approach the junction with Arthington Lane. Both ends of the house have been extended since the photograph was taken, with each one having a roof gable. Interestingly the large stones protruding out on the corners at roof level have also been moved to the new ends. Buildings in the background are part of a farm, home of The Creskeld Herd of British Friesians. Wall to left has been opened up for car access to the garden. If you turn right at the junction, on to Arthington Lane towards Harewood Bridge, about two hundred metres along on the left is a property named The Old Post Office, complete with old post box in wall. Presumably the Post Office moved there at some point. (See Goggle Streetview.)
