Image shows members of Seacroft Pensioners Association at Seacroft Library where they had gathered for their weekly meeting. On this occasion they had invited Denis Healey MP to dedicate a new banner to be used as part of their campaign for increased pension. At this time the Seacroft Pensioners Association had been in operation for three years with meetings and outings held on Friday afternoons. The secretary was Mr. Fred Howard. The group displayed their banner during a City Centre march held on 30th March 1988 when the pensioners taking part were addressed by the National President of the Pensioner's Associations, Mr. Jack Jones.
