Crowds are gathered to watch the arrival of a tram on the first day of the tramways in Guiseley. The photo is taken on Oxford Road, with the shop of Walter Priestley, butcher, in the background. The trams ran for a relatively short time in Guiseley, the service being one of the earliest routes from Leeds to be abandoned in 1934.
