Description: Undated.
View taken looking towards Foundry Lane showing old Lynchet Embankments. These tell something of the history of the area and are evidence of medieval strip farming. Farming has existed here for centuries and in medieval times Killingbeck Grange Farm had connections with the Cistercian monks of Kirkstall Abbey. At the left edge is the 15 storey tower block, Parkway Grange, built to a height of 44 metres in 1967 with 97 residential flats. It is situated in Foundry Lane. Image courtesy of John Garnett.
