On the left, no.242 is Harold Henry Truswell, grocer, advertising milk, 2d (old pence) a tin, pears three and a half pence a tin, herrings 4d a tin and pines 4d a tin. Also finest Irish roll 11d per pound and new season's fruit. Next to this no.240 is Thomas Carter, fish, fruit and poultry salesman then no.238 Miss Mary A. Carter, milliner. A van is parked on the right while on the far left is the jnction with Ivy Mount.
