Tinted engraving of Farnley Hall near Otley, once the residence of Walter Ramsden Hawkesworth Fawkes (1769 - 1825), Member of Parliament and Art collector. The work is signed C.Healey, and the date is thought to read 1885. The hall originates in Elizabethan times but later additions were designed by John Carr in the 1780s. The central section is the oldest part of the building.
